Washington DC

AIGA is a professional membership organization for designers. Each year, the Washington DC chapter hosts a weeklong celebration of design in our nation's capital. In 2016 I helped contribute to Washington DC's design week. Got to work with Dan Rader and TJ Cichecki, which introduced me to a new web experience and helped spark a passion for web design. During this whole event, I got introduced to many talented designers in the DC area, that helped push my creative side in graphic design and wayfinding. Have to be real, meeting Abbott Miller, Elen Lupton, and Debbie Millman really made my 2016.

Worked with Greg Fisk on the logo concepts. Got taught by Dan Rader the meaning of good web design.

The Gensler DC helped create the environmental graphics and wayfinding throughout. The main task was to create something that people could recognize but also be reused in the future. We designed these octagon-shaped pegboard pillars, that would be stacked on top of each other using Lazy Susan plates so they can be spun. You could stack up to three of them making the pillar be nine feet tall.
